Tajikistan's time zone is TJT, which is GMT+5 (five hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time/Universal Coordinated Time). There is no adjustment for daylight savings.

In Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO), the timezone is officially the same as the rest of the country, but most local people seem to operate on unofficial "GBAO time", GMT+6. This assumption can sometimes catch out the unsuspecting traveller; when making arrangements in Badakhshan check whether the local person means "Dushanbe time" or "Pamiri time".
